Our Mission Statement
The Veterans Outreach Center of Western Washington University is dedicated to providing US Armed Forces Veterans and their families the best possible experience here at Western. Whether the Veteran is looking for a job, information about what benefits they deserve, or just curious about what the Bellingham area has to offer, the VOC is there for them. Successful programs the VOC has presented in past include the annual Veterans Day ceremonies, socials, and job skill workshops. Look for upcoming workshops and social events from the VOC. We also provide military speakers for your clubs events and/or provide first hand knowledge of what the military is doing right now, what training is like, and what the military as a whole is like. Our office is a safe haven for the student/soldier, sailor, airmen, or marine and their supporters to hang out and relay information and stories.
